I'm not sure how many of you are still interested in pursuing this project. Unfortunately I won't be able to keep participating in this endeavor, due to limited time and potential conflict of interest as 10x is also working on a single cell visualization software.
I have no doubt that you'll make this project interesting and useful to the single cell community if you decide to keep working on it. I'd love to see what you all can build, and do not hesitate to send any questions if you want a second opinion.
Best,
Grace

According to me, knowing that 10x is working on a single cell visualization software, I'm no more interested in pursuing the project. Maybe we can only try to publish the current software as is on: https://f1000research.com/channels/hackathons. What are your thoughts?
I'd encourage you guys to publish to the F1000 channel. It doesn't have to be incredibly long and detailed paper but hackseq can cover the publication cost if someone takes the lead on it.
We're currently putting together a 'meeting report' for it for the hackseq channel : )
Hi everyone,
Hope you are all doing well!
