🔥 Your Pitch

"For a layman, Technology makes the day to day things a lot easier, but for people who are really in need, Technology can make things POSSIBLE"
With the same motivation, we, Team: "mysterious_ways" have come up with a solution to redefine the way AI looks towards legal case research automation. As per recent stats, about 40k cases are pending in Supreme Court, over 50L cases are pending in high court, and when it comes to subordinate courts - the number crosses 2 Cr. Often people face legal issues that require legal assistance and expensive lawyers, and are overwhelmed, and anxious about what might happen. We propose an AI-based solution having a very intuitive UI, that makes it easy for anybody to find outcomes of his specific legal problems by performing NLP to find the most relevant results, with the highest precedence, based on the problem which is put forth in simple terminologies.
Our Approach:

  1. User enters the issue in form of a keyword, for which an efficient Elastic search is performed, to attain the most relevant results.
  2. Further the entire text is analysed and summarised using NLP based Text summarisation to give a brief overview of the entire legal case which would otherwise have taken a long time to process through.
  3. The results are further categorised based on the the various keywords and entities extracted from the summarised legal case which will help the lawyers to analyse the case in a much more efficient and faster manner

🔦 Any other specific thing you want to highlight?

This is definitely a complex problem that requires a lot more effort, thinking and collaborating, to provide the most effective solution to legal problems.
So further we look forward to efficiently predict the outcome of legal case files using gated RNN or gated CNN network, after the case files are pre-processed and analysed.
We believe that solution to this problem will not only provide required justice to all the needy people but will also improve the entire judicial system of India.
