Should you have to explicitly add them to the gulpfile?

The current conclusion is that we should put some of that config in a JSON file where it is easier to read.

The piece of relevant code:

// TODO: Ideally we want this to be a wildcard match of some form
// so we can automatically pick-up new custom styles.
'styles/custom/gamegig2017': './styles/custom/gamegig2017.styl'
