So basically when leather armour starts to wear out it accumulates lint because it's a kind of fabric and thus when it breaks you get an item called "lint" yes.

If you right click with lint it just makes some funi lint particles nothing much.

But if you use lint while looking at a cauldron at sunset or sunrise the cauldron's water turns to night sky, like end portal texture, and if you right click in the water you are pulled through into Fraiya

The effect on the cauldron wears off after 30 seconds

Edited it to mention wear-off time of the effect

How about leather armour found in dungeon chests has accumulated lint over the years, and you can scrape lint off that as well somehow idk

or even mobs that have leather armour on might be able to drop lint
