I have recently switched to Windows 10 on my laptop (as WSL/mintty finally makes a useful command line), and was looking for a tiling window manager that won't be incredibly hacky or doesn't get the whole idea of automatic tiling at all, and Petronia seems to get things right in both departments.

There's one problem, though: it does not work correctly on recent-ish Windows 10 (latest Insider Preview, I believe); most likely because it doesn't recognize the native virtual desktops. Some things work: the chroma disappears from the right windows, windows get maximised; but that's about it – I can still switch betwen desktops and activate some windows, but any further manipulation fails. I'll try to make screenshots of normal and post-start desktop and attach them shortly.

If you're interested in getting Petronia compatible with Windows 10, I'll gladly assist in any capability I can muster.

I'd appreciate the help! The biggest issue I encountered with Windows 10 was its move to Metro for most of the desktop items. This makes access to the underlying systems more opaque.
