If things go to hell during development or on election night, it would be helpful to be able to run a few simple command in order to setup and configure both the ec2 and dynamoDB instances so that we don't have to point and click our way through the AWS management console.
My experience in doing this is in using fabric, chef and boto3. Maybe it could all be done with boto3 or the AWS CLI. There are lots of ways to go about this.
