I was driving in the car, listening to Michael Gungor's THIS happily. The episode was wrapping up, and I wanted to skip to the next one. I couldn't, because all we have is the forward/back buttons for 15 seconds.
Being able to navigate easily through episodes when you don't have full access to the device (like when driving) would be boss.
Plan of action
Not sure how detailed this should be, but essentially this would require some design work from @tannerhearne to determine what we this to look like.
The functionality would be simple, but getting the user intent right would be hard. We short our podcasts from most recent to oldest. So, would hitting the ⏭ button result in episode that was next recent in chronological order, and ⏮ would actually take us closer to the present?
Scope
This would be done we when can skip / go back easily with the press of a button. We might want to make sure that bluetooth commands work too.
