If the shadow rendering architecture allows for it, I suggest that you please add override controls to change the shadow map atlas size and PCF filtering quality separately for every light. For example, smaller lights can have worse shadow softening, larger lights can have better shadow softening, sharper shadows can have greater shadow detail and softer shadows can have lesser shadow detail.
I haven't checked if someone has suggested the same feature or something like it, please let me know if that is the case.
