Great project this! Busy setting it up.

Optoma seems to be very open with their commands, and it would be nice to get a state back to hass.io. I'm quite new at all this, what could be connected up to get RX (I understand UART2 doesn't have RX)? Or would it be sacrifice the status/debug and use the primary UART?

Just to clarify a little more, things like returning lamp life as a sensor etc would be great!

If you want to add it to your config.h, I think Optoma's head is ~ and tail is \r
