How about replacing the icon and functionality of the "Scroll to bottom of page" in the header toolbar to "Scroll back to top of the page" icon after the user starts scrolling. (based on the logic that display the "scroll to the top" icon that shows up on the bottom of the page when a user start scrolling)

Possibly. Could you fund my time for this Nadav?

But as there is already a go to top button and as you might be half way down already then want to go the bottom, then perhaps not such a good idea in all use cases.

I imagine I can, How much would you estimate it for?

Indeed, you are right. it seems more practical. but I was think more about consistency.
Have this button at one place, and just switch functionality.
Actually, not sure how useful it be...
Wonder what other people think about this...

Hi Nadav,

Time = would need to work out = only worth spending the time to work out the time if worthwhile doing and an interest in funding it = therefore do ask what other people think.

Aside, please read: https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=334052#p1346781

Leave it. I will figure it out and see if it worth it.
