This issue is a central place to discuss the backend changes the Stevens GITenberg Team has planned on the backend side. Specifically, this is where we will be discussing our plans for synchronizing updates to existing repositories (and newly created ones) with a format suitable for presentation on the website (for searching etc).

This will also provide a place to rebuild covers/ebooks/etc, as discussed in #46.
