When I am in a project with no spans (performance data) the project will have an empty state. Which ideally directs the a developer to the most obvious way to set their application up for performance.
Solution Brainstorm
If an application is missing tracesSampleRate for example, the empty state of performance leads to a generic page with a list of platforms
could we link to the correct platforms?
could we should most common reasons for that platform why there is not performance data, in the empty state too?
Considerations
If no project is selected or multiple this could make directing the user to the correct platform complicated.
Example: session replay has interactive content, the FAQ unlike almost any other empty state. Why is that?
Further could the interactive content be the top 5 platform snippets? So if we don't know the platform we can cast a wide net, and it could have, a snippet which simply shows the traceSampleRate for that platform.
potentially other strategies could be adopted for others: Insights
tabs with lists of the top integrations for DB and queues respectively
