This is just a draft idea for the future, if ever.

We could add variations to the Sentry-instrumented apps to determine what options have an impact reducing overhead and, conversely, which ones increase overhead.

Obvious candidates:

  • Sampling rate
  • Integrations
  • Debug logging
  • Transport
