Same side LT/MT

I have a few LT's setup on thumbs. Some of them are on the same side as the keys of the target layers (e.g. my Nav layer).

I have an LT(4 /* Nav */, KC_ENTER) set up for my right thumb. Nav layer has arrow keys on the same (right) side. I have KC_E under my middle finger on the default layer, and KC_UP on the Nav layer under the same finger.

Due to a delay, the layer is not activated immediately. Yet, I would love to be able it that way, e.g. if LT key is being held, cut the timeout if any of the keys from the target layer are tapped.

The question would be if it's possible to do that for a specific keys (only thumbs). I know I can move LT on the other side, but it's the last resort for me as I've been using the current setup for over a year on the previous keyboard and don't wanna re-wire my brain to that.

I think I found what I need, the achordion_chord should do the trick.
