There's an error when using Local CI with Docker Desktop 4.3.0+

Unexpected environment preparation error: error looking up cgroup: not implemented for cgroup v2 unified hierarchy

That error doesn't occur with Docker Desktop 4.2.0.

You might not want a security risk from downgrading the Docker version.

But if you accept the risk, you can:

1. Download Docker Desktop 4.2.0
2. Click the .dmg file when it's downloaded
3. Drag it to Applications
4. Click 'Replace'

rm ~/.circleci/build_agent_settings.json

[kienstra]

That command probably won't help anymore.
