Hi,
There was an issue opened about this, #1, but it appears to have fallen through the cracks so I figured I'd open one specifically for this:
It would be nice if the github master could be synced with svn trunk, or at least that readme.txt would, so you wouldn't have to drag out the dusty old svn repo to update tested up to without making a full release. It would also help those who don't wish to use github for bleeding-edge releases (why wouldn't they, but anyway), and would keep the wordpress repos in sync.
