When submitting the data with a very small distance between the start and end site as "interval" and not as "peak", the only error that the user gets is at the moment of generating a pile-up for a certain condition. The error is then "Not enough data for this condition". This is misleading and does not aid in finding the real problem causing this issue. Also, the lineprofiles, despite looking weird, are generated without raising an error.

I have a similar issue when uploading ChIP-seq peaks as a bed file, just with "No data for this condition" message, which doesn't help to find the issue.
I will address this in the next release version at the beginning of August.
HiCognition will have a slight overhall for point and interval regions. We will display more prominently what each region is; you will be able to filter and sort on this property. And we will add the proper error handling for the case above. We check during the upload if the intervals are too small and warn you.
