drop file not working properly sometimes with Chrom, fine with Firefox in Ubuntu

Chorme and Chromium Version around 107.0.5304.87 (Official Build) (64-bit), with Ubuntu 22.04 x64,
The drag drop would sometimes gets an empty file entry, and break the UI response, then drag drop never works after.
Fine on Firefox. Fine on Windows 106 version of chrome.

This is likely a Chromium bug? At least I'm having issues on Ubuntu all the time with drop&drop without using any library (I've never heard of or used ngx-file-drop, came here via Google)
