Hi all 😃 I have been trying without success to add an attribution to the background map on the Map page following the example in This seems to work if you define a layer object in the Map section of Admin console > Settings > User Interface using JSON, you get something like the screenshot below to appear in the bottom-left corner if your definition has an e.g. I was wondering if anyone had success with this and could help me get the attribution in using the XML config-viewer file. |

@alexarobu, @ianwallen implemented the support of attributions in #7062, that seems also backported to 4.2.x. I hope he can help about this. From the example snippet, I see 2 attribution, I'm not sure if that can be the problem? Have you tried with one attribution only? Also make sure to clean the full browser cache (or try in incognito window), the map context is usually cached in the browser. |

@josegar74 Thanks for the pointer Jose 😄 I don't see the same contents in the 4.2.5 branch, do you think Ian's change can be backported by any chance? I can open an issue if you want. |

@alexarobu I see the change in 4.2.x branch: 3e7548e, probably added after 4.2.5. If you try with latest 4.2.10, it should contain it. |

@josegar74 unfortunately, our instances are running 4.2.5 and 4.2.9 🙈 no worries, I will include it manually if there are no plans for it to be backported, thank you! |

@alexarobu, the feature is backported to the 4.2.x branch, but we are not going to update the existing old 4.2.x releases. An option indeed is that you apply manually the changes on top of your instances. |
