Access other ChatGPT conversations

I like that idea but a bit tricky from both api and UX perspective since we don't have so much real estate on the sidebar.

I see two simple options to get started

1. some checkbox or menu entry to just continue the most recent conversation
2. option to provide the conversation id which is the uuid after /chat/ in the url

so for option 2. we need to make puppeteer get the current user chat history after turning the extension on, store it and show it on ui later. I may take a look into it.

When loading the chat state on vscode we can fetch the chat history list and let the user select one if he wants to. If he does, make the next request to use that uuid.

This feature is truly vital when building complex interactions.
I feed in the contents of several docs pages and several files.
If for some reason that is lost, I have to start again or move to the website.

you have the three dot menu by the send button, would it be possible to add a "restore session" entry?
I get that this would need a new page to then open, but it seems like you've got a good handle on making attractive pages like the "features" start screen. The puppeteer dance remains but the UX shouldn't be the barrier

@vinniefm @theronburger @ciekawy @ncesar Hi folks. Thanks for the feedback. I have added the support to access old conversations in v3.7.0.

It was hell of a work but I think it looks quite well within vs-code's such small sidebar. For now, you can only access the most recent 50 conversations. You can continue them, see their titles and creation times at the top of the window after opening a conversation. I'd appreciate if you could rate the extension on the marketplace for better visibility and adoption, this was a quite big feature to implement within limited time on a weekend ;)
