Good morning

We in my company are using Timelion as Datasource to do calculations in Grafana with data from Elasticsearch.

image

We need to alert, but we find that this Datasource does not support alarms.

image

We also installed the Meta Queries Plugin to use it instead of Timelion, but this one doesn't support alarms either.

We need to do arithmetic operations with data coming from Elasticsearch and alarm them, but we have not found a solution for this.

Any solution for this ?

@ahincapieg29 ,
AFAIK alarms are only supported on data sources developed directly by grafana labs.
I'm currently reviewing this plugin to post on www.grafana.com
I'll check what needs to be done to support alarms with @daniellee

@SamPeng87 ,
Sorry, this project does not make part of grafana.
AFAIK alerts are only supported on a subset of datasources developed by Grafana team.
Got not answer and currently there's not documentation about how to develop datasources with `alerting´.
You should contact Grafana support directly. Opened a question for you: https://community.grafana.com/t/will-be-alerting-feature-part-of-the-plugins-sdk/12323
