<li><strong>30 October 1909</strong> - Born in Bombay Presidency, British India</li>
<li><strong>1924</strong>- Passed his Senior Cambridge Examination with honours."</li>
<li><strong>1928</strong>- Joined Gonville and Caius College of Cambridge University."</li>
<li><strong>1930</strong> - Entered the world of Physics.</li>
<li><strong>1933</strong>- He was selected for the Isaac Newton Scholarship.</li>
<li><strong>1935</strong>- Received a PhD for his thesis on "Cosmic radiation and the creation and annihilation of Positrons and Electrons."</li>
<li><strong>June 1945</strong>- Tata Institue of Fundamental Research was established and he was the founding director and professor of Physics.</li>
<li><strong>1948</strong> - Became the first chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission later renamed as Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.</li>
<li><strong>1954</strong> -He was awarded Padma Bhushan for his contribution in the field of Nuclear Physics and Sciences. </li>
<li><strong>1955</strong> - Served as the president of United Nations Conference on Peaceful Uses of Atomic Energy</li>
<li><strong>1960-1963</strong> - Served as president of the International Union of pUre and Applied Physics."</li>
<li><strong>24 January 1966</strong>- dies at the age of 56 due to Air India Flight 101 crash.</li>
