Releases: gameboy9/DW3Randomizer
One graphical glitch fixed...
If there were less than four characters in a party, the party had a graphical glitch if you party wiped. This glitch is now (hopefully) fixed.
More bug fixes...
Fixed several things and also added a little more intelligence to the spell casters so they have slightly more MP. Please see the release notes for details.
Bug fixes...
Just had to do a small bug fix with regards to the previous release... the program should now work correctly.
Harder monsters
I finally figured out how the regeneration of monsters works as well as how monsters double attack via the ROM, so they are FINALLY added to the randomizer! Enjoy!
Stat Reconstruction II and Equipment Modification
After figuring out that Enix can randomize the stat gains better than I could, I made the randomization of stat gains much prettier. (the big thing being a constant "multiplier") I also lowered the chance of getting good equipment(that being half the maximum power allowed) from about 29% to about 24%. I also lowered the maximum weapon and shield power. I also corrected a bug where particular items weren't being sold at the correct price if you did NOT check off "half gold requirements".
Store and stat reconstruction
I totally redid how the items/weapons in the stores were generated, as well as how the stats were gained, since magic users weren't gaining MP even though intelligence was gained. (BIG PROBLEM, naturally)
NOTE: The next version, unless there are bug fixes, will be 0.10.0.
More bug fixes
I made a few more bug fixes and minor improvements to the stat gains. Please see the commit notes for details.
Spell learning bug fixed
I discovered that the hero wasn't learning the Return and Outside spells like the hero was supposed to. I fixed that bug and am now releasing this.
Equipment use bugfix
Shoobinator discovered that those who can use an item were still the same as the non-randomized version. It should have been that those who could equip the item were the same as those who could use the item. This release fixes this bug. This policy only applies for weapons only... for now...
REALLY removed the HP/MP baseline!
The title describes it all. Enjoy!
