Would it be possible to use it with the Whisper API instead of letting it run locally. It's just not the same with these small models.. #82

Hi, Andreas. I already stumbled upon the app you sent me already several times.

I have even found another keyboard which allows me to enter the Whisper API (Whisper input).
although I don't think it has this feature that I'm looking for.

I want to be able to use the voice input while I can still rely on a keyboard like Microsoft Swift.

The app from Futo is the only one that I found where I can sort of modify the voice typing button of my Swift keyboard without needing to swap the keyboard.

But maybe I'm confusing, does the app that you are referring to have this feature?

FUTO Voice Input will never support online speech-to-text. It is an offline speech-to-text app.

So you're barking up the wrong tree if you'd like FUTO voice input to introduce an internet-based speech-to-text API because it will never be done.

Ok. Who said never?.

Do you have any alternatives?

I am not sure I understand what you mean, but I tend to answer: "No, it hasn't."

No, I haven't. I use FUTO Voice Input and Dictate for different purposes.
