Use Cases

Some people with a poorly functioning brain waste an extreme amount of time on youtube thanks to recommendations.

Proposal

Firefox and chrome has an unhook extension for youtube. Basically you only get recommendations when you search for something. No recommendations under videos or on homepage.

Not sure how Unhook works exactly but would just removing the Home tab help with that? This can be done if you go to Settings > Manage Tabs.
