Hello,
is there any plan to support OpenSuse/Suse Linux disto in further versions?

More and more projects are based on OpenSuse/Suse distro and Fusion Inventory + GLPI is the perfect missing tool to manage and follow a bunch of servers/desktops for small to big environments.

Thank you I advance.

Hi @egamxmx
maybe there are more and more such projects but we don't see them with GLPI subscriptions so this is far from our priorities. But if you manage to push all that projects to subscribe to GLPI we would be happy to put that issue on our top priorities ;-)
Or you can request to (or wait for) a Suse packagers to join our little team.

Hi / Bonjour @g-bougard @egamxmx
i created repo's with the latest version of the FusionInventory-agent
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/StefanSa:/FusionInventory-agent/openSUSE_Leap_15.2/
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/StefanSa:/FusionInventory-agent/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/
https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/StefanSa:/FusionInventory-agent/SLE_15_SP2/

As far as i could test, i haven't seen any errors. There have been some changes / necessities compared to Centos repo.

  1. instead of cron(tab), systemd timer is now used for "fusioninventory-agent-cron".

  2. a logrotate was created for the log file, for this purpose the path from the log file was changed.

i will try to keep the repos up to date :-)
