rocksdbjni code giving error of automake1.14 on ubuntu 16.04

as per rocksdbjni code it is not working on ubuntu 16.04,i am getting error of automake 1.14 but by default ubuntu 16.04 install automake-1.15,which is mismatching i am not able to do mvn install,please help me out with automake 1.14 issue,which is hardcoded in the rocksdbjni code.

@chirino hi please help,can you confirm rocksdbjni will work on ubuntu 16.04 or not,i am getting error of automake1.14 in ubuntu 16.04.
ubuntu .16.04 install automake version 1.15 by default
