Currently there's no clean solution for doing this and we are open for suggestions. The problems we've seen with some possible solutions are:

  • Duplicate metrics if there's an existing metric directive some levels above
  • If the metrics are mounted per endpoint and these endpoints are mounted in a pathPrefix we'll not have the pathPrefix in the metic
