Issues Establishing Connection when multiple admin configs installed

I can connect via each config independently, however when attempting to connect via the Type provider, it has issues finding the correct ones and also spawns some additional issues. Definitely worth looking into.

If you can give more detailed repro steps that would be great, e.g. which Hadoop system, links on info about how to set up multiple admin configs, logs etc.? thanks

Hey Guys,
Sorry I didn't get back sooner, Paternity leave plus I relocated to South Florida. So lets hit these after 1 month of not looking at it :).

1. Hadoop system: HDInsight - cluster type: HBase
2. Multiple Config issue:
   2a. Installed Excel + Power Query
   2b. Installed the other configuration admin (I believe I have 32 bit office, then installed 64 bit configuration)
3. I believe I just started attempting to run and use.
4. I'm back to attempting to look at this again.

G'day, drcrook1 I still don't understand where the problem is. Are you running Hive? or HBase? Try using with Hortonworks or Cloudera virtual machine set up to make sure the issue is not with HDInsight.

I'm running HBase on HDInsight.

The issue might be that this is a Hive Type Provider not a HBase Type Provider.
