Which branch should I install: main or develop?

I’m planning to install this project, but I noticed that there are two branches with different update times:

main branch: Last updated many months ago.
develop branch: Last updated a few hours ago.
I’d like to know which branch you recommend I use for installation and deployment. My primary concerns are:

Stability: Which branch is more stable for production use?
Latest Features: Does the develop branch contain important fixes or features that aren't in main yet?
Compatibility: Are there any known issues or compatibility concerns if I use the develop branch over the main?
