extract.js

Extract helper for JavaScript.

Usage

All methods are will return array.

Numbers

const el = "1 + 2 Apple"

extract(el, true).numbers()

or

extract("#test").numbers()

Letters

const el = "1 + 2 Apple"

extract(el, true).letters()

extract(el, true).letters({ "join": true }) // Apple

extract(el, true).letters({ "join": { "char": "+" }) //A+p+p+l+e

or

extract("#test").letters()

extract("#test").letters({ "join": true }) // Apple

extract("#test").letters({ "join": { "char": "+" }) //A+p+p+l+e

Special Characters

const el = "A &%1 ' {}]"

extract(el, true).special()

h(1..6 => optional)

Test

All tests are located under the test folder. In order to run test, you need to install jest.

npm run test
