I currently use a second app to alter the Flobro window's opacity. Can we get a slider for this in-app?

Due to limitations of Chrome Apps this is not available. Will be when Flobro will run as stand-alone app when #6 is picked up. Although that does mean that this feature won't be available for ChromeOS.
