Amazon RDS DB instances
A DB instance is an isolated database environment running in the cloud. It is the basic building block of Amazon RDS. A DB instance can contain multiple user-created databases, and can be accessed using the same client tools and applications you might use to access a standalone database instance.
> You can have up to 40 Amazon RDS DB instances if wanna request for more a form is present or support contact
#creating rds database
rds is based on avaliability zone so if one AZ fails the database will go down , before creating database we specify in which subnet we want our database to be accessed which is asked while creating the database
### steps
> create database
> engine optimization -- select the desired databse like msql or mariaDB etc
> template -- production or dev or free tier
> name and master password
> instance config -- type of instance we want
> storage free upto 20 gb
> vpc
> authentication and some other basic settings
> create
### database features
> connectivity -- endpoints ,ports,vpc etc...
> monitering -- basic monitering like cpu,diskusage etc...
> logs
> configuration -- instance type etc ..
