I overall like Arch but I still prefer a Debian based distro, it seemed to me like Arch was to desktop oriented with the majority of people using it being desktop environment and window manager junkies looking for an extremely light weight system to tweak around with. I really could care less about the gui as long as I have shell access and can open a browser I'm cool, and any modern hardware can easily handle Ubuntu or pretty much any other distro. Also there is a reason Debian puts so much work into there package development branches, a rolling release system provides little stability or comfort, you would have to be crazy to want to put that on a production server. |

Hi, Yes, I will be maintaining most of my PPAs because I still operate Ubunut servers at work. In fact I am updating some of my PPAs today and a new build of minidlna will land in my server-stuff PPA soon :-) Regards, Martin. |

"That said, I do wish Canonical every success with Unity, they'll need it. If Ironic :) |
