The SHIFT modifier is currently ignored. I did this so 'c' and SHIFT+'c' were not distinct keystrokes, also '!' and SHIFT+'1'. However, possibly valid SHIFT+F1 keystrokes are no longer available.
To modify any attribute of the output requires modifying the KeyEdit widget. E.g. to change the color() attribute of the output requires adding a color() override to KeyEdit which modifies the color() attribute of the output control. How can this be improved?
The input widget is currently visible. Can the KeyEdit widget be modified in such a way as the input widget is invisible?
On my keyboard, the "middle" DEL key [a 104-key keyboard] does not produce the same keystroke as the numpad DEL key. Keyboard issue? FLTK issue? X11 issue?
