Adding to Symfony core?

Just out of curiosity, I'm wondering if you have ever tried getting the core Symfony developers interested in this? I have developed an almost identical set of traits and find they are quite useful as a replacement to AbstractController as well for services that just need a bit of functionality. Seems an obvious way to go.

I recently opened a conversation on the slack channel but the response was less than enthusiastic.
