The first issue is with line number 181 in the xxd.go
_, _ = src[2], dst[0]
Not sure what the purpose of this code is. Maybe it should have been:
_, _ = src[:2], dst[0]
Not sure why it is needed at all.
The other issue is the output of the reverse option. The text that comes from the -r -p options is garbled.
