What were you trying to do and how can we improve it?

  1. The FEC needs to have a portal for people to report & upload misinformation told by campaigns and PACs in their adds & mailed literature. I would not try to keep up with what the candidates say. 2. The FEC needs to force them to stop & fine those campaigns and PAC for lying. Campaigns have sued each other for lying and won, but that takes months after the campaign is over. Businesses, unions and PACs are legally "persons". They should be held to the same monetary limits you and I are held to for donations (direct or indirect). There is an apathy for voting because there is no difference between DNC and RNC when it comes to actually working for the People. If the People had a voice, there would be term limits and no PACs. I know that is beyond FEC's authority.

General feedback?

Tell us about yourself

I'm a 60 yr old women & attorney, who worked on John Glenn and Al Gore's presidential campaigns at the national level. I'm now an independent. I have received dozens of lying brochures from democratic campaigns and PACs (United for Democracy is just plain evil). I, like everyone I know, is so discussed with the electoral process. It's time for a major overhaul of the process. Fine the bad players out of existence.
