Line-breaks added with shift+enter cannot be deleted if nothing was added before.

How to reproduce:

Open http://neilj.github.io/Squire/.
Delete everything in the editor.
Press shift+enter multiple times.
Try to delete the introduced new-lines.

Highlight them (ctrl+A or something)
Delete them (Backspace)
