I will start simple by just collecting rain/snow fall in inches/millimeters in the form, along with a text field for a description of conditions. These will be stored in quantity measurements.

Other measurements we can add later:

  • Temperature
  • Humidity
  • Barometric pressure
  • Wind speed
  • Wind direction
  • Visibility
  • Others?

I added a simple quick form for recording precipitation observations. I also created a follow-up feature request for adding additional fields: #5
