Sidebar calendar only shows one month, and won't allow you to chage months. Mac

I have also been running into this problem, or at least a very similar one, recently on Windows but it only happens whenever I create a new event. When I create a new event, the sidebar calendar gets stuck on one or two months and I cannot click or navigate to any of the other months. I have taken to closing obsidian and reopening it which fixes the problem.
