Is it possible to use Portals when using expo-router?

I am facing difficulties while using the react-native-portal library to incorporate cross-platform modals and selectors. Currently, the components are not overlaying the existing views as intended; instead, they are being rendered at the bottom of the container.

I am wondering if there are any limitations to using portals in conjunction with the expo-router.
