In the atmospheric file, each layer has a radius value associated with it. Is the radius value the upper boundary, lower boundary, or the midpoint of a layer?
The reason I am interested in this is because I am doing a simulation of saturation to compare to Transit, and I want to ensure I have the correct path distance.
I looked in the transit user manual and the BART papers for information about this, but I only found information about how it is calculated. I think it might be a good idea to mention this somewhere. I could add it into the manual in the relevant section which would probably be sufficient.

Subject: [BART-devel] Question about atmospheric file radii
Hi,
In the atmospheric file, each layer has a radius value associated with it.
Michael
