One of my bigger passions in life is productivity and workflows and I try my best to have my workflow be transparent and reusable by as many other people as possible. Like a building block that you can use to make something even better or more powerful.
I share both the ideas I have on how I think about solving certain problems as well as the actual solutions I use to solve them (either through some program or tool like Alfred workflow or Keyboard Maestro macro or something else). What makes me so passionate about this is how all of these tools and things can play into the bigger picture of things and how they can work and play together. Sometimes, programs can lift you up and make you think and operate on a completely different level of abstraction which makes certain problems that you thought were hard to solve, actually easy. Karabiner app is a great example of this as it has literally changed my life in so many ways and opened my mind to what is possible.
Everything is possible.
With that said, if you are reading this and want to know more about my workflow & what I know, here is a small guide I would go through to optimally cover everything I use or made so you can pick the best parts of it quickly to fit into your own workflows or ways of doing things.
I would read through some of the articles I wrote. Some articles I wrote are more actionable and focused on a specific topic, others I am sharing some thoughts I have and how they relate to my life.
I try make this step super easy to do too as you can simply explore all the repositories I made and shared.
I made a repo where I cover everything I use on my macOS system in great detail. I share everything I use including hundreds of Keyboard Maestro macros and the various amazing Alfred workflows that you can simply explore and see what you find interesting.
Aside from my blog, I heavily share nearly everything I know about this world in this wiki here so you can explore and see what you like. If you did get the Powerpack for Alfred, you can even install my own workflow and easily search through entirety of both this wiki and everything I made or did. The big idea behind this workflow and my other creations is to do things in a way that anyone else can use these same things I am using.
I also wrote an Alfred workflow that as the name suggests, acts as my second brain that I use to quickly access anything I have indexed for myself. I share it because I wish other people took this idea and made their own Alfred My Mind or a Knowledge wiki but for their own use. Sharing knowledge and tools like that is very powerful and makes a big difference. As I use and reuse other people's work and knowledge many times a day. It never hurts to add to the mix.
I want to visualize knowledge and thoughts and ideas I have and share most of these things with other people through this wiki, the longer articles I write, the YouTube videos I make and of course finally through the code I write to make useful tools, apps and interactive visualizations that all can use and enjoy.
With all that said. The best way to know about me as a person, what I like and what I am into and what I am working on is to read through this wiki. With time, it will contain essentially everything that I know in my own words.
This wiki acts as a first class citizen and anything that I ultimately want to share or shared will be written down here, somewhere.
If you are interested in keeping in touch with things I am working on or learning, I am very active on Twitter.
