The recent texture update commit introduced some issues involving transparency in images. One image that has this problem is transparent.png. The transparency in that file is showing for me, so I don't exactly know what happened.

Hmm. That is strange. The software I used, ImageOptim for macOS, was NOT set to lossy when I ran them through. However, I did have it throw out all the metadata. Perhaps a comparison of metadata from the prior commit for this image and the current broken one may yield some info.
I've attached a copy of transparent.png that I ran through, while keeping all the metadata. Can someone please test this? (I don't have a setup right now)[ transparent.png.zip
