How to bind the title of a tab to a view model property ?

Hello, I am simply trying to create a tab template which show the title and a number in parenthesis like this:

"Example (3)"

The number is a property of a view model. However I have not been able to achieve that:

                <material:TabView.TabHeaderItemTemplate>
                    <DataTemplate x:DataType="material:TabItem">
                        <Grid Margin="20">
                            <HorizontalStackLayout>
                                <Label Text="{Binding Title}"/>
                                <Label Text="{Binding Data}"/>
                            </HorizontalStackLayout>
                        </Grid>
                    </DataTemplate>
                </material:TabView.TabHeaderItemTemplate>

                <material:TabItem Title="My Models" Data="{Binding UserModels.Count}">
                    <material:TabItem.ContentTemplate>
                        <DataTemplate>
                            <Label Text="My models" />
                        </DataTemplate>
                    </material:TabItem.ContentTemplate>
                </material:TabItem>
            </material:TabView>

This displays:
"My Models Microsoft.Maui.Controls.Binding..."
