Emmet Not autofilling

I'm following The App Brewery's Full Stack web dev course, and am halted by this error.

Actions: typed html and hit tab.
Expectations: Emmet to autofill as needed.
Outcome: Nothing

Hey, i tried something it worked. So in the web developing course, she creates two folders, the second one being inside the first one, and then she creates a file, that is inside the second folder she made, i NAMED ALL THE FOLDERS NAME WITH .html ( the first, the second inside the first and the file inside the second folder), then it worked. IDK about html im not used to programming so it might not work for you.

So I searched and eventually I just did the good old basic restart pc and ran the software again to find it had resolved the issue 😁✌
