I haven't seen these features in the latest version of the OS... also, Code, afaik is not an IDE but a text editor. Cool though, but not capable of doing more |

Basically, having some tools to help newcomers to develop apps on Elementary OS would be really nice.
For example, having an IDE which has a good support for vala language server, and probably has a delphi-like form editor (which might seem like having glide integrated into the IDE) would encourage newcomers to write apps and grow the ecosystem.
This project might be quite difficult to do, because it needs the help of the community to build tools for developers and not end-users. At the end.
