Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to Settings -> Account
  2. Click "Sign out"

Outcome

What did you expect?

I should have arrived at the login page.

What happened instead?

I arrived there, but the Settings dialog remained shown.

element-hq/matrix-react-sdk@5308c91 is the code that is supposed to be doing this. I tested and it just seems like it doesn't work all the time. I don't know why though.

Actually I don't think this is a regression, it's just probably always been a bit flakey.
