I've tried everything but could not reproduce this. I'll unassign myself.

@SimonBrandner I am an Outreachy Applicant. I would like to work on this, can you pls assign this to me.

I tried reproducing the issue. For me, at 300% zoom, the image doesn't become blurred but shrinks somewhat. Like this

Ideally, the image should also get magnified.

Problem is still present.

See video (Microsoft Edge, page zoom 150%):

Seeing the video, it is still hard to understand what the actual problem is.

To reproduce the issue,

  1. Open a room
  2. Send a message
  3. Zoom the page into 150%
  4. The read indicator disappears from the right bottom

Is this correct?

Of course it disappears, sooner or later. But until then it's visible and you can clearly see that it doesn't look nice. Yes, this is very tiny cosmetic issue and how much it annoys you depends on how much you want to nitpick on tiny cosmetic issues. For most people it will probably go unnoticed.

Ah I see what you mean (the blank horizontal border above the latest message).
